Police SC won the Emir Cup and thus ended the successful season in the best possible way, in which they finished second in the league, and also won the GCC Champions Cup.
In the final match Police SC defeated Al Arabi SC 3-1 (25-18, 25-21, 21-25, 25-20). The best player of the match and the person who led Police SC to the trophy was Oliver Venno with 41 points (57% in attack and 2 aces). Saber Kazemi scored 24 points for Al Arabi SC, while Christian Fromm added 13.
