The first match of the MEVZA League semifinals was played in Maribor and guests from Ljubljana were better.
ACH Volley Ljubljana defeated OK Merkur Maribor 3-1. Match top scorer was Ziga Donik of Maribor with 23 points, while the most effective for the winning side was Nikola Gjorgiev with 21 points, and Danijel Koncilja added 17.
Today, the second semifinal match is scheduled between Slovenian representative Calcit Kamnik and Aich/Dob from Austria.
