Amidst a passionate atmosphere with nearly 2000 fans, Rapid triumphed over CSA Steaua București in the final with a 3-1 victory, showcasing exceptional skill and teamwork. The semifinals were equally thrilling, with Rapid defeating the reigning champions Arcada Galați 3-1, overcoming an initial set loss, and Steaua București besting Dinamo 3-1. Led by Serbian coach Dragan Kobiljski, Rapid’s win marks a significant achievement in Romanian men’s volleyball.
