BUL M: Francesco Cadeddu Takes Over as Head Coach of Neftochimik 2010

Italian coach Francesco Cadeddu has been appointed as the new head coach of Neftochimik 2010 (Burgas), the club announced.

Cadeddu previously led city rival Deya Sport, guiding them to the Bulgarian Cup title in 2024. He replaces Ivan Stanev, who resigned from the position.

This marks Neftochimik’s third coaching change this season. Former Bulgarian national team coach Martin Stoev started the campaign, followed by Stanev, and now Cadeddu takes over.

With over two years of experience in Bulgaria, Cadeddu has built résumé working with leading clubs across Europe. He has served as an assistant coach or physical preparation coach for teams such as Piacenza, Macerata, Cuneo, and Latina in Italy, Resovia in Poland, and Fakel Novy Urengoy in Russia, and has also held the position of head coach at Dinamo Bucharest in Romania

Currently, he also serves as an assistant to fellow Italian Gianlorenzo Blengini in the Bulgarian national team.
