Al Rayyan SC has secured the Qatar League title for the 2024-25 season after a commanding 3-0 victory over Al Arabi SC in the penultimate round. The win ensured their championship triumph as Al Wakrah SC suffered their third consecutive defeat, losing 3-1 to Police SC, crushing their hopes of a historic title.
The official trophy presentation will take place on March 19, following the league’s final match. Meanwhile, Al Arabi SC’s defeat has all but ended their chances of finishing in the top four, meaning they are unlikely to qualify for the prestigious Qatar Cup. Their only hope for silverware now lies in the Emir Cup.
With this victory, Al Rayyan SC adds another trophy to their collection, having already won the West Asian Club Championship. They remain in contention to win all four major titles this season, further cementing their dominance in Qatari volleyball over the past 15 years.
