The Prague side won 26-24, 25-23, 15-25, 25-17 in front of 1,276 spectators, repeating last year’s final result and once again denying Karlovarsko a first cup trophy in their seventh appearance in the title match.

The opening two sets were tightly contested, with Lvi Praha edging both by narrow margins. Karlovarsko responded strongly in the third set, dominating 25-15 to cut the deficit. But Prague regained control in the fourth, using serving pressure and steady play to close out the match. Middle blocker Pablo Crer was named Most Valuable Player.

Karlovarsko captain Filip Šestan said his team had its chances. “It ended 3-1 again, just like last year. We played great volleyball and had opportunities, but Prague were better in the key moments,” he said.

Lvi Praha coach Juan Manuel Barrial praised his players’ resilience. “Defending a title is always difficult. After losing the third set, it wasn’t easy to come back, but the team showed character,” he said.

With the victory, Lvi Praha claimed their second straight Czech Cup crown and their second triumph in the past three finals.
