Mursa Osijek wins MEVZA League title in five-set final

MOK Mursa Osijek captured the MEVZA League title on home court, defeating MAV Elore Foxconn in a five-set final after a two-and-a-half-hour contest.

Mursa Osijek controlled the opening two sets to take a 2-0 lead, but the Hungarian side responded by winning the next two to force a deciding set. In the tie-break, the hosts pulled away early with a strong run and maintained the advantage to secure the title.

Leo Andrić led Mursa Osijek with 24 points and was named tournament MVP. Alexandru Buzdugan added 20 points, while Gabriel Šunjo contributed 12, including six blocks. Marcel Pesti paced MAV Elore Foxconn with 17 points.

Earlier, HAOK Mladost Zagreb claimed third place with a straight-sets win over SK Zadruga AICH/DOB. The Austrian team was hindered by an early injury to setter Lukas Micheu, while Mladost capitalized with a solid overall performance.
