CRO: Ribola Kaštela Men, Centrometal and Ribola Women Through to Semifinals

Ribola Kaštela and Centrometal secured semifinal berths in the men’s SuperSport Superliga on Saturday, April 4, while Ribola Kaštela’s women also advanced with a straight-sets victory.

Kaštela defeated Marsonia 3–1 at home, confirming their place in the next round after also winning the first leg. After a dominant opening set, the match tightened as Marsonia leveled the score. The hosts responded strongly in the third set and sealed the win in dramatic fashion in the fourth, saving two set points before closing the match with four consecutive points.

Ante Kulušić and William Anderson led Kaštela with 21 points each, while Bojan Strugar scored 23 for Marsonia. Kaštela will face Mursa Osijek in the semifinals.

Centrometal advanced with a 3–1 away win over Dinamo Zagreb, completing a convincing two-leg victory. Despite Dinamo taking the first set, the visitors controlled the rest of the match. Centrometal will meet HAOK Mladost Zagreb in the next round, with the first match set for April 8.

In the women’s competition, Ribola Kaštela defeated Brda Split 3–0, repeating their result from the first leg. The Kaštela side dominated throughout and now moves on to face Nebo in the semifinals. The other semifinal pairing will see HAOK Mladost take on Dinamo Zagreb.
