Ghavami
Ghoncheh Ghavami (25), Iranian girl with British citizenship, has been arrested in her homeland because of volleyball! She tried to enter the hall and watch World League match between Iran and Italy, but she was arrested with dozen of other girls who also wanted to attend the event!
All because in Iran it is still forbidden for women to go to sports events!
Ghavami was released after a couple of days, however, when she went back to the police station to pick up her things she was arrested again and sentenced to a two-month jail time! She was transferred in the notorious Evin prison, where all political prisoners are “locked up”.
People all around the world are making campaigns on social networks in which they demand release of Ghavami.
