Although both teams have already qualified through to the second stage, points from this match were very valuable for them, because they are transferred into the next Pool.
And, thanks to the excellent team play, Croatia managed to collect two of them. Winning side had five players with double digits as Sanja Popovic scored 18, Senna Usic Jogunica and Maja Poljak added 16 each, Mia Jerkov made 13, while Ivana Milos finished the game with 11 points.
On the other side, Maren Brinker was the top scorer in German team with 20 points, Christiane Furst added 19, while Margareta Kozuch scored 13.
