The leader in the standings caused first defeat to the second placed Osaka Sakai Blazers – 3-0 (28-26, 25-23, 26-24).
Final reasult says that Thunders easily beat one of the rivals for the title, but if you take a look at the score by sets it is obvious, it was tough. Every set was played to the difference in points.
The Brazilian Leandro Vissotto was Thunders’ best scorer with 22. Yu Koshikawa added 15.
The Bosnian Milan Pepić had 19 points for Blazers (six aces!) while Shunsuke Chijiki noted 14.
Suntory Sunbirds scored second win in a row after losing premiere match in Last 6. It was led versus JTEKT Stings by amazing Brazilian Evandro Guerra – 30 points!
Stings had highlight of the match, Cuban Fernando Hernández, with 33 points!
