Despite 43 points from Azerbaijani Polina Rahimova, Suwon Hyundai Engineering & Construction couldn’t reach playoff finals since it lost with the same result as in the first match – 3-1 (21-25, 20-25, 25-22, 19-25).
Thus, Altos scored second and final victory in semi-final series, mostly thanks to 31 points from American Destinee Hooker.
Last season, Altos lost finals against Seoul GS Caltex Kixx after five matches. Now their opponet in the battle for title will be hi-pass Zenith Korea Expressway, who qualified to the finals as the leader in standings in a regular season.
