Liberec
The players coached by Michal Nekola ended the playoff finals against VK Jihostroj České Budějovice in front of home supporters and after five games of the series – 3-1 (25-14, 25-21, 25-20).
Liberec became the Czech champion for the third time in its history and won 17th trophy overall.
It’s interesting that Liberec failed to win title six times, most recently last year, just to České Budějovice.
Leikep had 14 points for Liberec while Kuliha scored 12 for the losing team.
