USA defeated Cuba 3-1, while Canada made a 3-0 victory over Mexico in the NORCECA four-nation men’s tournament. Prior to these victories, USA and Canada aced their opening day matches to secure the top two spots in the competition before heading to the finale on May 23.
Anderson led all scorers with 17 points, while team-mate Taylor Sander contributed 15 points and Murphy Troy added 14 points. Cubans Osmany Uriarte and Rolando Cepeda scored 16 and 12 points, respectively.
