It was Chinese sweet revenge to Thailand for the loss in the semi-final of the previous tournament, in 2013.
Chinese receiver Zhu Ting dominated the game with a powerful attack and total of 28 points. China vs. Thailand 3-1 (22-25, 25-22, 25-10, 25-23).
In the other semi-final encounter, South Korea defetaed Chinese Taipei and qualified into the final of the Asian Championship after 14 years.
Korea, who previously returned among the best for teams in Asia after 18 years of break, was led by unstoppable Kim Yeon-Koung and won in four sets, with partial 25-16, 25-13, 23-25 and 25-15.
With the series of points, Kim cleared the way to the victory of her team in every set that Korea has won.
Tomorrow (May 28) will be the last day of the contest at the Asian Championship.
China and South Korea will compete for the gold medal in the rerun of the 3rd place clash for from 2013 as they both already secured their spot for the Asian Qualifiers for the 2016 Olympics in Rio (Brazil).
Chinese Taipei and Thailand will play for the third place and the place for the Asian Qualifiers.
The matches for the 5th and 7th place are also scheduled for tomorrow.
