The crowd was excited to see how the German’s could keep up with the fast playing Japan . A win for Germany would send them straight to the semi-final. Japan had to play without the injured Yurie Nabeya.
Yukiko Ebata was the best scorer in the winning team with 18 points followed by Sarina Koga 17 and Riho Otake 16.
On the other side Louisa Lippmann scored 17 points while Wiebke Silge 14.
