For the first semi-final of the tournament, Turkey overcame Netherlands in a long, exciting, and heart-breaking game in five sets (29-27, 23-25, 25-13, 17-25, 15-13).
The Turkish team, led by opposite hitter Gözde Yilmaz (24 points) reaches the final for the first time in the tournament history and will face tomorrow Japan.
The Japanese national team easily beat Russia in straight sets 25-23, 25-22, 25-13! Yukiko Ebata was the top scorer with 17 points! Daria Isaeva was the best players on the other side with 12 points.
