Thai team swept out Indonesia in straight sets, in a rerun of the 2013 finals and it will have the opportunity to defend the gold medal from the previous tournament.
Kittikun Sri-Utthawong with 15 and Jirayu Raksakaew with 12 points led Thailand to a 3-0 (25-18, 25-23, 25-16) semifinal victory.
In the Semifinal 2, Vietnam, the bronze medalist from the previous Southeast Asian Games had a slightly harder task against Myanmar – 3-0 (25-21, 25-17, 25-21).
Thuận Tử Thần had 18 and Hoàng Thương Nguyễn collected 15 points in Veitnam.
The gold medal match is scheduled for June 16 in „OCBC Arena“ in Singapore.
