Bulgaria in semis
Today, in the quarterfinals Bulgaria has defeated neighbor, Turkey in four sets (24-26, 25-19, 25-17 and 25-20).
The top scorer in the winning team was Todor Aleksiev with 18 points while Valentin Bratoev and Nikolay Nikolov scored 13 points each.
In Turkey Ahmet Tocoglu, Burutay Subasi and Ufuk Minici scored 9 points.
Bulgaria qualifies for semifinals and will clash with Poland for a spot in the title-deciding match.
