The possibility of Saeid Marouf’s return to this team, from which he moved to Russian Zenit Kazan at the half of the previous season, is confirmed by Urmia’s coach, Jahangir Seyyed Abbasi.
It means that Italian Valerio Vermiglio, who was hired as Marouf’s replacement, had to depart.
“The presence of Saeid Marouf will be very important to us. I have to say that Vermiglio’s contract expired and that he left Urmia. I, myself, signed a two-year contract last season and I don’t have a problem to stay for another year,” Urmia’s coach stated for the website ourmiavolley.com.
