Egypt hasn’t only won the continental title, but also matched Tunisia‘s eight-title record in the history of the competition.

Egyptians went for more than thirty years in the dark after the early successes in 1979 and 1983 before displaying a crushing domination with successive titles from 2005 to 2015.

By entering to the 2015 African Nations Championship finals, Egypt and Tunisia qualified for the 2015 World Cup that will be held in Japan from 8 to 23 September and which will be a qualification tournament for the 2016 Olympics.

Morocco won bronze after the triumph over Algeria.
