Italy celebrating win
Italy improved their win-loss record to 2-1 by downing Colombia 3-0 (25-19, 26-24, 25-21) on Friday afternoon. Colombia had their best moments at the end of the second and in the beginning of the third set but couldn’t pull through.
Colombia’s Amanda Coneo was the top scorer of the match with 16 kills. Three Italian players led the squadra azzurra: captain Sara Bonifacio, Anna Danesi and Elisa Zanette scored 12 points each.
Peru scored the first win on the tournement. Today, they were better than Cuba while Bulgaria defeated Egypt also in straight sets.
