Now it’s clear that female teams will break the ice in the next season as they start to compete on October 27.
Turkish Eczacıbaşı VitrA İstanbul, the reigning title holder, will open the competition with the game against Italian Pomì Casalmaggiore in Pool C (17:00 CET). Three hours later, in Pool F, Entente Sportive Cannet-Rocheville Volley-Ball from France will face Romanian CS Volei Alba Blaj. These two matches are the only ones on the opening day.
Men’s Champions League will start on November 3 with only two games as well.
In Pool F, Polish Lotos Trefl Gdańsk will host Vojvodina NS Seme Novi Sad from Serbia (18:00 CET) while one hour later, Russian Dinamo Moscow and VfB Friedrichshafen from Germany will face in Pool B.
