WC W: Russia vents its anger on Algeria, cheers for Argentina to get Rio ticket

Aleksandra Pasynkova scored game-high 16 points in Russia’s victory 3-0 (25-6, 25-6, 25-8), in the last round of the competition in Japan.

Algeria finished at the bottom of standings, having zero sets on its account after 11 matches.

Now, with 9-2 score and 27 points, Russia holds the second place on the table (two best teams go to the 2016 Summer Olympics) and awaits the outcome of Serbia’s game versus Argentina, cheering for the South Americans.
