The last exhibition match before the South American Championship was tough for the Brazilians as it was decided in the tie-break, unlike yesterday’s.
Slovenia grew up in the third and fourth set, but could not prevent the victory of Rezende’s players 3-2 (25-20, 25-14, 18-25, 20-25, 15-10).
Brazilian Isac Santos scored a game-high 15 points. On Slovenian side, Jan Pokeršnik had 13.
In ten friendly games in a row, Brazilian NT totaled eight wins and two losses – one from USA and one for France.
Rezende’s team will now perform at the South American Championship held in their country (September 29 – October 4).
