The head coach Dragan Nešić announced roster of his team for the continental tournament in which Bulgaria will play in Pool C against Russia, Belarus and Croatia.
A huge surprise is the absence from the list of a middle blocker Strashimira Filipova! She missed the beginning of preparations, but Bulgarian fans were hoping that she will be called up by Serbian expert.
The European Championship starts tomorrow, on Saturday, Septembar 26 when Bulgaria will face Russia at 15:00 (CET). The greatest success of Bulgaria at this tournament was gold medal in 1981.
