NORCECA CH M: Canada and Cuba for gold

After 2-1 for Mexico, Canada won the semifinal match in five sets by scores of 20-25, 25-16, 18-25, 25-17 and 15-7.

On the other side Cuba defeated Puerto Rico 3-1 (20-25, 25-20, 25-23, 25-22).

John Gordon Perrin finished as top scorer with 21 points, while Nicholas Hoag scored 19 and Daniel Jansen Van Doorn, concluded with 14. For México Jorge Barajas notched 13 points, while Nestor Orellana and Gonzalo Ruiz finished with 12.

Rolando Cepeda scored 24 points in the four setter victory of Cuba while for Puerto Rico, captain Hector Soto scored 13 points and Maurice Torres finished with 10.
