GS Caltex has opened season with straight sets win over defending champions! The newcomer Katherine Bell had solid performance – 12 points. Her teammate added 12 as well.
On home side, Liz McMahon had also a solid display with 15 points but her team lost the game.
The third set was the decisive one! Home team had a few points of advantage, but Caltex managed to save set point of the rival and later to use a match point!
Recall that Caltex had only 8 players in rotation.
