The visitors missed their chance in Set 2 at 23-23 when Taylor Simpson scored two points in a row – spike and block – for 25-23. It was a key moment of the entire match.
She was the best scorer in the winning team with 27 points while Lee Jae-Yeong contributed with 11.
Katherine Bell’s 16 points and 6 blocks were not enough for GS Caltex to take at least one set. Pyo Seung-Ju added 15 (72.2% successful attack) while their team now has 1-2 score and 6 points.
