“In total, we had a good session. Of course, we reviewed the performance of the national team and we also will in the next meetings, as well as on several other meetings with individuals and groups and even in the meeting with the Minister of Youth and Sports,” Davarzani said about the preliminary talks with Serbian expert Slobodan Kovač.

“At the time that we are examining all options available and even, if necessary, we will negotiate with other coaches. So far, we haven’t had any talks with any coach. Hopefully, we will find the best solution in the next ten days and announce our final decision,” The President of Iranian VF emphasized and asked media to be patient.

Recall that Kovač said at a press conference that he would like to continue his work as the head coach of Iran and lead the NT at the qualifications for Rio Olympics.
