In a derby of Round 9, Pink Spiders prevailed over Hyundai-Hillstate Suwon 3-2 (26-24, 19-25, 25-22, 14-25, 15-8) and settled at the top of the standings with 5-1 record. Hyundai dropped one position and hold second place.
The American outside hitter from Pink Spiders, Taylor Simpson, scored game-high 27 points. Three other players from this team had double digits. Lee Jae-Yeong stood out with 12.
Emily Hartong’s 26 points and Hwang Youn-Joo’s 21 weren’t enough for Hyundai, as well as stunning eight blocks from Kim Se-Young!
