Olympic gold medallist Nikola Grbic says Germany and Serbia can be the dark horses of the men’s volleyball tournament at this year’s Olympic Games.

Grbic, who won gold with Yugoslavia at Sydney 2000 as well as silver in Atlanta four years earlier, says that the lack of expectation surrounding teams like Germany and his own country Serbia could work in their favour at Earls Court.

He also names German star Georg Grozer among his players to watch, and explains what it takes and what it means to win at the Olympics. “It was like jumping over the rainbow!” he says.
