Hosts Canada will be joined by Cuba, Mexico and Puerto Rico as they fight for the single Olympic ticket on offer at the tournament.
Four teams have already qualified for next year’s Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. Brazil qualify as hosts of the Games, while USA and Italy earned their tickets to Rio as the top two finishers in the 2015 FIVB World Cup. Argentina became the fourth team to qualify for Rio when they won the South American Qualification Tournament in Venezuela in October.
