Hyundai almost spoiled everything good that they made in first two sets of the match against hosts, IBK Altos, but recovered after shocking 2-2 and demolished opponents in the fifth set 3-2 (25-21, 25-17, 20-25, 19-25, 15-3).
American Emily Hartong led Hyundai’s scorers with 23 points while Yang Hyo-Jin added 19. Kim Se-Young contributed with stunning 9 blocks, besides being third best scorer in winning team with 16 points.
American Elizabeth McMahon from Altos scored game-high 30 points. Her teammate Kim Hee-Jin added 19.
