By beating fierce rivals, Roeselare achieved fifth win in a row in Belgian top divison and took over leadership in the standings with 12-1 record, one point more and one game more played than Asse-Lennik.
On the other hand, Maaseik suffered second consecutive defeat, fourth overall, to stay third-placed on the table.
Hendrik Tuerlinckx was the best scorer in winning team with 21 points while Argentinian Federico Pereyra topped Maaseik’s scorers with 18.
