In a game at home court, Jumbos suffer defeat to penultimate team in the standings of Korean V-League, KB Insurance Stars VC 3-1 (25-20, 16-25, 25-21, 25-21).
It was a clash of two East European bombers in which Jumbos’ Russian Pavel Moroz outscored KB Stars’ Slovakian Martin Nemec 28-18, but Slovakian was happier at the end.
Thus, seven rounds before the end of regular stage, Jumbos are two wins behind third-placed (last spot that secures playoff participation) Samsung Bluefangs having played one game more than György Grozer’s team.
Pretty unenviable situation for Jumbos!
