JPN: Kaziyski saw his undestined teammates confirming playoff spot, Dante and Vissotto stand out

Many fans wondered why Matey Kaziyski suddenly changed destination in Japan last summer. Instead of going to Panasonic Panthers, he surprisingly closed the deal with JTEKT Stings and… from current perspective, it turned out as wrong decision by Bulgarian receiver/outside hitter.

In the final round of V-League, Kaziyski was watching his undestined teammates from Panthers confirming third place in the standings (the last place that secures playoff participation) 3-0 (25-18, 25-17, 25-20). Brazilian Dante Amaral scored 22 points for Panthers while Kaziyski had 13 in Stings.

JT Thunders Hiroshima achieved their last win as Japanese champions by beating Sakai Blazers 3-1 with 27 points from Brazilian Leandro Vissotto. Bosnian Milan Pepić collected 20 in losing team.

To recap, Toyoda Gosei Trefuerza go directly into playoff finals as first placed, while second placed Toray Arrows and third placed Panasonic Panthers go into playoff semifinals.
