In the new round Italy defeated Peru 3-0 (25-19, 25-16, 25-17) and continued its record on the tournament.
This time Cristina Chirichella was the main star in the Italian team with 18 points.
On the other side South Korea have had an easy work against Kazakhstan so the main stars in the team rested. Without Kim Yeon Koung they won 3-0 (25-16, 25-11, 25-21).
For Kazakhstan it now needs a miracle to get to Rio, while South Korea continues to impress.
