“I’m happy Peru got the chance to play in this competition. I think Thailand is the best team in Asia. They beat Korea and played Japan close. Today they beat us in straight sets. The scores in the sets were close. In that sense we were able to achieve one of our goals here,” says Marasciulio.
“We have been working four years to prepare for this tournament. The Olympics are our dream. The players did a good job. What we did will be valuable to people, especially young people, in Thailand. This will help Thai volleyball reach the world-class level,” says Radchatagriengkai.
