After Poland, Iran also managed to beat Canada 3-2! Raul Lozano’s side was trailing by two, but they somehow won another three sets to clinch new win at the World Olympic qualification tournament.
Gavin Schmitt had a good display with 27 points while on the other side Milad Ebadipour had a good game with 26 points. Amir Ghafour added 19.
Australia have scored the first win at the World Olympic qualifiers. They downed Venezuela, thanks to Thomas Edgar, who scored 22 points to keep Australia’s Rio dreams alive.
