One of the best Canadian players Gavin Schmitt could not hide his happiness after his team definitely secured a ticket for Rio. He posted a picture of Canadian volleyball team on his Instagram profile and wrote the following message:
“These guys!! Words can’t describe!! Going to the mother Olympics, is this even real life? So many people helped me along the way in the past year! Can’t thank you enough!!!”
Recall that in the last round of the World Olympic Qualifier Canada defeated China, while Poland outplayed Australia, which gave the Canadian crew the 4th place on the standings and the final ticket for the Olympics.
