A family of Georgie – Peter, Fiona and Tom Row – announced in a public statement that her death was of “great sadness and loss” and the family was “overwhelmed with support” from the community.
“Georgie’s passion was volleyball and she achieved success at all levels including playing for the Australian women’s national team,” they wrote in a stamen released by Australian volleyball federation.
