Bangkok Glass gave their best in the opening two rounds of the FIVB Women’s Club World Championship, however they suffered two defeats. Thai star player Pleumjit Thinkaow stated that her team still lacks experience for making something big at major tournaments.

“We faced a good system and good defense of Hisamitsu Strings, while on the other side we made a lot of mistakes. I think this tournament is too big for our club at this moment. As you know this is the first time for Bangkok Glass to participate at the FIVB Women’s Club World Championship. Simply, some of our players are still very young and this is the first time they encounter with such a big event. We need to learn from each game.”

Thinkaow returned to Thailand two years ago, after the end of her volleyball adventure in Azerbaijan. Still, this 32-year player admits that she might go abroad once again…

“Yeah, of course. Still, all my current plans are connected only to Bangkok Glass. I want to focus on trainings, while we will see what will happen in future.”
