In September, a 37-year-old Slovenian Women’s Volleyball National Team member announced that one-year break was over. But now, more than three months afterwards Lipicer-Samec revealed for our website that she is forced to retire once again. The reason is – she’s pregnant!
Good news for her team Calcit Ljubljana and all Slovenian volleyball fans is that she does not plan to quit playing professionally. After she delivers baby next year, Lipicer-Samec will return to training.
During her rich career, Slovenian receiver took one title in two different national championships each – Czech and French – as well as the CEV Challenge Cup once.
