Cuban bomber Osmel Camejo, who came to Al-Nasser at the beginning of the season from Qatari Al-Arabi Doha, led his team at the 2016 Arab Men’s Volleyball Clubs Champions Championship. Despite the fact Al-Nasser got eliminated in the quarterfinals, Camejo was on a high level.
By extending with Bahraini powerhouse for another season, former Cuban National Team member secured his fifth season in Asia: Al-Ahli Jeddah (Saudi Arabia 2013/14), Woori Card Wibee (Korea 2014/2015), Al-Arabi Doha (Qatar, 2015/16), Al-Nasser Manama (Bahrain, 2016/17 and 2017/18).
