NED M: Lycurgus open Eredivisie playoff finals vs. Orion with a four-set win

The top-seed Lycurgus prevailed against No.2 Orion in Game 1 of the best-of-five 2017/18 Eredivisie playoff finals by a 3-1 (25-21, 16-25, 25-20, 27-25).

It was the third straight mutual encounter between these two sides for the gold medal in Eredivisie, and Lycurgus emerged as ultimate winners from both.

Game 2 in the series (in which Lycurgus have a home-court advantage) is scheduled for April 21.

Recall that Orion will remain without their head coach regardless of the outcome of the playoff finals.
