FIN M: VaLePa sweep Hurrikaani in championship series to win the 4th title

VaLePa Sastamala won the back-to-back title in the Finnish men’s volleyball championship Mestaruusliiga.

For the fourth time in the club history, the second in a row, VaLePa Sastamala was crowned Finnish champions.

The top-seed VaLePa won Game 4 of the Mestaruusliiga 2017/2018 playoff finals by a 3-1 (25-20, 22-25, 25-18, 25-13) to make the sweep of No.4 Hurrikaani-Loimaa in the series.

Urpo Sivula was unstoppable for VaLePa, tallying 23 points, including 5 aces and 3 kill blocks. Olli Kunnari added 14 points (2 aces, 2 kill blocks). Antti Ropponen scored 20 points for Hurrikaani.
