Grupa Azoty ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle defeated PSG Stal Nysa 3-1 in the quarter-finals of the 2021/22 Men’s Puchar Polski. However, the competition favorites and title defenders will certainly want to forget about this match quickly. They were forced to invest a lot of effort to overcome underdogs who opened the match with impetus, but after that their game faded more and more as the game unwrapped. Łukasz Kaczmarek top-scored ZAKSA with 18 points. He and Norbert Huber set up 4 blocks apiece.

Jastrzębski Węgiel swept Projekt Warsawa to join ZAKSA, but also Trefl Gdańsk and Asseco Resovia Rzeszów who earned their places earlier, in the Final Four.
