Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie secured a significant 3-1 victory over Asseco Resovia Rzeszów in a highlight match. Karol Butryn’s six serve aces contributed to Zawiercie’s triumph, with a final scoreline of 21-25, 25-18, 29-27, 25-23. Butryn tallied 24 points, supported by teammate Trevor Clevenot with 17 points. Despite a valiant effort, Resovia, missing Klemen Cebulj, fell short, with Stephen Boyer leading their scoring with 21 points.
Grupa Azoty ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle marked a victorious debut for new coach Adam Swaczyna, edging past Indykpol AZS Olsztyn 3-2. Łukasz Kaczmarek shone as the match’s best player, amassing a stunning 29 points. The close contest ended with scores of 19-25, 25-20, 27-29, 25-23, 15-13. Alan Souza from Indykpol also stood out, scoring 28 points.
In another nail-biter, Ślepsk Malow Suwałki clinched their third consecutive home victory, defeating GKS Katowice 3-2. Żiga Stern led Ślepsk with 21 points, contributing to the final score of 22-25, 25-22, 25-20, 17-25, 15-12. Lukas Vasina was the top scorer for GKS with 25 points.
