Today matches of the PlusLiga brought thrilling volleyball action – five-set battles, and outstanding individual performances. From Resovia’s hard-fought home win to Jastrzębski’s dominant sweep and Chełm’s historic triumph.

Asseco Resovia Rzeszów – Energa Trefl Gdańsk 3:2 (25:19, 23:25, 23:25, 25:23, 15:13)
Resovia celebrated their first home match of the season with a dramatic five-set win over Trefl Gdańsk. Karol Butryn led the hosts with 24 points, earning the MVP title for his 46% attack rate, two aces, and four blocks. Support came from Yacine Louati and Danny Demyanenko (12 each) and Klemen Cebulj (10). Trefl’s Aleksiej Nasewicz scored 31 points, backed by Tobias Brand (18) and Piotr Orczyk (14), but 40 unforced errors cost them the match.
JSW Jastrzębski Węgiel – Ślepsk Malow Suwałki 3:0 (25:20, 25:17, 33:31)
Defending champions Jastrzębski Węgiel cruised past Ślepsk Suwałki in straight sets. Anton Brehme was unstoppable, taking MVP honors with 14 points and a remarkable 92% attack success (12/13), plus an ace and a block. Nicolas Szerszeń added 12 points. For Ślepsk, Asparuh Asparuhov and Bartosz Filipiak finished with 15 and 13 points, respectively.
InPost ChKS Chełm – Cuprum Stilon Gorzów 3:2 (14:25, 25:22, 25:22, 8:25, 15:13)
PlusLiga newcomers InPost ChKS Chełm claimed a historic first victory, edging Cuprum Stilon Gorzów in a rollercoaster five-setter. Paweł Rusin led with 14 points, supported by Jędrzej Goss and Tomasz Piotrowski (12 each), and Rune Fasteland (11). Setter Jay Blankenau earned MVP honors. For Cuprum, Chizoba Neves impressed with 31 points, followed by Mathis Henno (21) and Patryk Niemiec (13).
